"Well, technically speaking I don't have a face.... at least, not originally." He flickered forms, turning to his robot one. His blue optic flicked around.
Honestly he'd changed more for his sake than to show her. Andy and Rapunzel were some of the only ones who knew him well enough to pick up on his ticks in his robot form.

Astrid shifted awkwardly on her feet, blinking a few times, "oh.. Uh.. Right. Silly me!"

Wheatley would have frowned if he'd still been in his human form. Instead his upper handle lowered slightly like an eyebrow would. It felt sort of like she was judging him for being a robot. He didn't want to experience that again.
He uncharacteristically fell briefly silent.

Astrid didnt mind the robot. In fact, she herself felt tense because she felt like she had done something wrong. He didnt seem very fond of her for some reason and she was slightly offended by this. She cleared her groat. "Um.. Thanks again. For he help."

(I wish they got along. They probably won't, at least not until after my evil plans for him, though.) Wheatley, at least attempted, to have his normal happy mood when he replied. "You're welcome, I hope you find them alright. It was, well, it was nice meeting you," he said, though the words felt slightly unnatural to him as he spoke them. Luckily they sounded the same as the rest though.

(I wish they could too! What are you planning?)
She sighed and nodded, not even attempting to look happy anymore. "Yeah.. You too." She went to the desk to check out and quickly exited. "We'll.. I'm not going to the library again," she said aloud to nobody.
