Andy smiled as the robotic kitten ran playfully about the room. It was a more advanced version of Gir's design with some glitch fixes, plus some of Jack's magic to allow it to transform into a cat like Gir did a dog.
It seemed better behaved than Gir which was good since he wasn't the one keeping it. He would let Lucille decide what to name it.

Lucille had gotten the message that her new pet was finished a few hours before and she was excited to meet the kitten. She tapped lightly on Andy's door, clutching her gloved hands together, her light hair hidden beneath her sun hat. She shifted from side to side, anxiously waiting.

The kitten stilled in its playing at the noise, curiously following at his heels as he went to answer the door. "Hi," he greetd with a friendly smile.

Andy nodded, holding the kitten out for her to take. "I haven't named her, I wanted to let you decide."

"How thoughtful!" Lucille took the robotic pet into her hands and stroked her head gently. "Hmmm.. lets see.. I think I'll name her Mimi. That sounds cute enough for this adorable little kitten!"

Mimi purred, sort of like the whirring of a hard drive. "That's a nice name for her," Andy agreed, smiling.

Lucille smiled at Andy, expressing her gratitude. "What all can she do?"

"Well, in her robot form she can talk as well as do simple computer calculations. She also has a few defense mechanisms if she or you are threatened. Otherwise she's essentially just a little buddy." He smiled stroking the kitten's ears.

"Calculations?" she asked, tilting her head, "You mean like math? Like a calculator?" Lucille wasn't very tech savey. She didn't understand computers at all actually.

Mimi nuzzled her. Andy chuckled. "It's no problem, I really do love inventing them. And they're sweet little pets, though mine might be a bit insane. Earlier design." He smiled sheepishly.
