Wheatley ran into the corner of Andy's shoulder as he floated out of his room, causing the human to wince and give him an exasperated look. Andy's lips thinned as he regarded his robot.
“What is wrong with you lately?” He asked harshly. The sphere froze, swiveling slowly to regard him mildly. His optic was narrowed slightly though.
“I am fine,” he replied evenly, arching a handle at his human as though daring him to contradict him. Andy let out a disbelievingly laugh.
“Don't lie to me Wheatley. You don't transform anymore, you don't seem interested in anything, you don't even play with Gir anymore. You did something, don't think I didn't feel it.” He had advanced on the sphere as he spoke, getting right up near his optic.
“Oh, of course you felt that. That's what makes you weak. You're human, so breakable, you know, all our connection does for me is weaken me. And you? Without me you would have died ages ago.” He doesn't acknowledge that Andy was the one that made him in the first place for that context.
Andy's eyes had widened, staring at his robot in disbelief. Wheatley's optic had a purplish tinge, red leeching into the blue. “I don't need you anymore,” Wheatley told him, electricity crackling in the air between them. Andy gasped as the current bit at him, vision blacking as he slumped to the floor.
Wheatley's optic cleared slightly and he turned, leaving his human on the floor.
Computer alerts and warnings popped up on Andy's laptop screen from Wheatley's readings.
(Laughs evilly!)
